Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you accept insurance?

We are a self‑pay telehealth practice. This allows transparent pricing, longer visits, and personalized care without insurance restrictions. You may use your insurance for labs or medications. (We are only able to accept straight Medicare at this time if you do choose to use your insurance).

  • Can you order labs?

Yes. We send labs to Quest anywhere in New York. Results return directly to your provider for review.

  • Can you prescribe medications?

Yes. We prescribe most primary care medications, including chronic disease medications, antibiotics, and mental health medications. Controlled substances follow NY and federal telemedicine regulations.

  • What conditions can be treated via telehealth?

About 70–80% of routine primary care can be managed virtually, including chronic disease, mental health, preventive care, and many acute issues.

  • What conditions require in‑person care?

We refer to urgent care or specialists for:

    • Severe abdominal pain

    • Chest pain

    • Shortness of breath

    • Lacerations

    • Fractures

    • Pap smears

    • Vaccinations

    • Imaging (X‑ray, CT, MRI)

  • Do you see patients outside New York?

At this time, we serve New York State residents only
